The weather calls for scattered thunderstorms starting in the afternoon so hopefully we’ll be ok. If it is pouring in the morning and is still raining by 9 am we will officially postpone. Otherwise… we will be putting up some fresh signs on Old Alabama in the am. If you want to put up additional signs pointing the way to your house, I have extra permit stickers at our house (145 Sheringham Dr).

Ok, weather.com changes every 5 minutes, but as of right now it said cloudy for Saturday. If it does end up raining, hopefully it will just be scattered. I’m headed out to get our permit today and will post a sign on Old Alabama tomorrow. I will also post an ad on craigslist. If you want to participate and haven’t responded with your address yet, you still can. Per Roswell’s regulations, you will need to go to city hall and apply for an individual permit. (If you have already responded with an address you will not need to file an individual permit!)

It’s that time again, mark your calendars for the neighborhood garage sale! This year we are planning on Saturday, June 13th, from 8-2. Please leave a message here or in the forum if you plan to participate. Given the weather this year, we may have to re-schedule, so if the forecast is looking bleak, check back here to see if we have postponed it!

I’m sure most neighbors have noticed by now that the new entrance sign is finally up. Thanks to Darrin and Jason who have worked so hard to get everything in order. There is still some landscaping to be done and we finally have a sign to be proud of!

Sign up today for the Halloween Dine and Dash this Friday night! We will be meeting at 145 Sheringham Dr at 6:30 to share a potluck dinner before the kids go trick-or-treating. (the 5th house on the right coming into the subdivision) Bring the kids to fill them up before they get all the candy, or just come out to meet some neighbors. All you need to do is bring something to share! To sign up, just email Jenny news@kensingtonsq.com so we can make sure we have enough participants and don’t all bring the same thing! 
I plan to make some chili, you can be as fancy or as simple as you want!
Don’t forget, we’ll also be announcing the winner of the Halloween decorating contest as well!
